Overnight at Ecotarium

Ecotarium
Update 10/7/11
The Ecotarium trip currently has 51 people signed up so this looks to be a great trip as well. We have an opportunity to add more slots but you must let us know by the end of the next pack meeting (Oct 14). The cost is $50 per person.  The sign up sheet can be found on the restricted access site "Littleton Pack 2 Docs" listed on the left hand navigation bar.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
I will also be collecting medical forms at the Oct 14 pack meeting, so if you have not filled out the current forms and provided them to me with a copy of your insurance card, please print them out from here and bring them to the meeting. You must provide a set of documents not only for you scout(s) but also for the parent/guardian who will attend the events and any siblings attending hikes or overnight events. Please be sure to bring a copy of your insurance card with you.

Update 9/15/11

This November, the scouts of Pack 2 are invited to attend an overnight event at the Ecotarium  museum located in Worcester. I have been to this museum with my family numerous times including once this summer. It is a fantastic discovery museum that includes both indoor and outdoor activities.

As part of the program, the scouts will be working to earn the astronomy belt loop and possibly pin. And if the weather cooperates, the scouts will also be able to view the stars through the museum's
Meade 178mm F9 APO (in simple terms, a 7 inch refractor) telescope.

Here is the key information you need to make a decision:

Awards: Astronomy Belt Loop and possibly Astronomy Pin
Cost: $50 per person
Times: 6:30 PM Saturday November 12 until 8:00 AM Sunday November 13

Sign up NO LATER THAN end of day Sunday October 16.
The sign up sheet can be found on the restricted access site "Littleton Pack 2 Docs" listed on the left hand sidebar

Siblings welcome: this is a limited space event and therefore any open slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis
